Brand Introduction
The Thai word "นางฟา" (Nāngfā̂) means "angel". Nafafa" is the name of the restaurant, which is based on this pinyin, meaning that the angels will bring the heavenly delicacies to the mortal world to share with the rest of the world. With this in mind, the restaurant endeavours to present the best of each dish to its customers. Today, most of the well-established Thai restaurants in the market have incorporated Hong Kong and Vietnamese elements to cater to the tastes of Hong Kong people. These Thai restaurants have become the reference or imitation of the new Thai restaurants. As a result, there are many different kinds of "Hong Kong-style Thai food" on the market. The owner of the restaurant had the idea of opening a Thai restaurant in the early years, using high quality ingredients with the most traditional Thai flavours. Last year, the manager coincidentally met an old Thai chef friend, Pornphen, who was about to return to Hong Kong after finishing his job at the New Eragon Hotel in Macau. The two of them shared the same vision and hit it off instantly, resulting in the emergence of Nafafa today. A small bar has been added to the side of the restaurant, where the bartender has created a series of Thai-inspired cocktails based on different spirits, fresh Thai fruits and flavours. Nafafa wants guests to feel like they are in Thailand, enjoying a traditional Thai delicacy brought to life by นางฟา.
